First new run H&R springs fresh off the boat!

It's Christmas again in the Casa de Cadesto.
New H&R lowering springs 1.4" front, 1" rear.
Straight from the factory! Love the dark charcoal metallic finish can't wait to get installed and share more pics!

What are you all doing about the air bags in the rear? Any CIL indications with the bags removed?

^^ IIRC the OP has 3.0i without the rear-self leveling option.

I may stand to be corrected on this one, but actually, I think it would be rare if he does have front and rear springs. Isn't self leveling rear suspension standard with Sport Package (S221A) equipped X5's?

I know its a standalone option if you don't have Sport Package though. Calling Quicksilver!

Ricky you're probably right, I just assumed the OP's X was w/o the sport package /rear self leveling as he didn't mention anything about doing the air to conversion. I would be be interested to know how the 2 packages were offered though!

I've got the sport package on my 3.0, steel springs front and rear. Dunno if that's the exception or the norm though.

No. SPP does not have rear air by default. I have owned and maintained 2 3.0 SPPs without air suspension and fiddled with a few 4.4 SPPs without air.

You might be thinking of early SPP 3.0's and 4.4's (2000-2001) and all 4.8's that *did* have air suspension standard. From 2002, the rear air suspension was optional on both SPP and non.
