p1161 and p1159 codes

Service engine soon came on last night . had it scanned at autozone . came up with the codes p1161 and p1159. doing some searches but getting mixed results.most are poing to the oil seperator hoses.

If this is the case , is this an easy diy? what else could it be ?

Probably a CCV clean out is needed!
take off your oil fill cap, and observe, see if there is any 'orange/yellow mayo' in there, if there is, chances are you have a clogged up CCV system, yes, clean out the pipes.
Its a tricky re and re, but its not impossible. if you have to get new piping do yourself a favour and get the insulated or Cold weather kit.

Hi, what did you do to resolve the p1156 and p1161 problems? I am seeing the same codes.

Thanks
