Factory alarm is freaking out.

Had my alarm go off 3 times while unlocking the car with the key fob. Then it won't shut off when I push the unlock button. Anyone else experience this? Only seems to happen with one key.

If it's the fob then I may need to replace it. Wife has the other.

To turn of the alarm, you stick the key into the ignition and turn it to position 1...once the EWS transponder has been recognized as a valid key, EWS sends a signal to (I believe) the GM that the vehicle is "officially" unlocked...thus FZV/DWA alarm alerts are disabled.
EDIT: see last paragraph in last image below about EMERGENCY DISARMING
Make sure the battery in your key is fully charged.

Pretty sure it's isolated to my key. Wife has never had it happen with her's. When it does happen she looks at me like I'm an idiot. First time it happened I thought I had held down the wrong button and set off the Panic Mode.

Qsilver, that's alot of information! Going through it makes me think there isn't a battery issue with my key as I haven't seen any message on the dash.
