this time I didn`t run out of oil though.
how can I bypass the ccv valve temporary or can the valve be taken apart and cleaned out?

If it is running and then hydro locks it will almost always bend or break something. If it hydro locks without the engine running like a leaky injector, and you try to crank it and it does nothing, you can pull the plugs to clear the hydro lock. The starter motor usually doesnt have enough power to bend or break something. Now running it with an actively ruptured ccv and then letting it stall via hydro lock............I would start shopping for an engine. You can use a m54 b30 from any vehicle.

update again no smoke while idling now ,can drive x5 with slight smoke, when accelerating hard , a lot more smoke, no more knocking in engine. ( had all cylinders misfiring for awhile which might of caused the knocking) drove it again today no codes came up at all this time ,engine idles smooth and no hesitation at all. hope this is a good sign. now just to get all the oily sludge burn out of the exhaust system. might have to drive it at night .

Do I understand correctly, your engine has hydro locked twice? All you have done is get the oil out each time then start and drive it? And each time there are less issues?

thats correct, but I plan on changing the ccv hoses and install a oil catch can instead of the valve.
