Hitch Noise
Stupid question here but I have the OEM hitch and this thing is loud. It makes it kind of stressful to tow (especially with all the potholes after this winter) because your constantly hearing clunking noises as if the hitch isn't latched down to the ball. This appears to be due to perhaps excessive clearance between the female portion of the receiver and the male portion of the ball mount that slides into it. I'm wondering if perhaps my walmart ball mount may be the issue or if perhaps the oem hitch is just kind of a loose fit. I have used the hitch on other vehicles with the same trailers (and loading) and they weren't so noisy.
Anyone else notice this?

There are products out there that will fix that.
Hitch tightener: no wobble, anti rattle stabilizer device for hitch accessories

Mine makes heaps of noise if I have a small load on the back (eg empty car trailer) but with the trailer loaded up its daily quiet. Overall definitely noisier than other hitches/cars I've had before...
