Valley Pan - to Repair or Wait for the Puddle
Turns out the Valley Pan is leaking. Not sure if it will just be one of those - slow leaks to fast leaks situation. Keeping the X for another year - 12 months max. Maybe until fall of this year. Lots of things happening. Not a fan of the F15. Just short of topping it off more often , can't think of a flipside on why I should deal with it. Aside from this, the X is extremely well maintained. 5+" thick file folder full of mods, parts and maintenance. MotoDavid. This pic is for you. I recall to this day the thread on much you have spent on your X..

AFAIK, it just drains out the back. As long as I keep it topped off till it gets to a large leak, I could deal with it then. Not sure how fast this slow leak will be. On my previous E39, I went almost 4 years with a slow leak till I dealt with it. I've already done the VP 2X on this X. Once cause it was leaking. The other was when I had the timing chain rebuilt, and since the top was gutted.....I did it
