Yes I know the stock setup used to come with well nuts and fine thread metric bolts, which you can use and get at your local Home Repo but you're right, you have to drill much bigger holes



I have to go to the Repo anyway to find some new stainless license plate screws (damn rust) so I'll look for some allen self tappers while i'm there.

Having the fasteners in the kit would be nice. I've been eyeballing SUVs with skidplates lately [Volvos, etc.] and am rethinking my initial rejection of having mine painted titanium silver. They look pretty good even with a pretty monochrome paint scheme otherwise. I'm thinking silver might look better than body match black sapphire . . .
