How red is Imola red?

I'm looking at an Imola Red '06 - Unfortunately it's quite a distance away so I can't just pop over and check it out.

Can't recall seeing an Imola Red one in person and I was wondering if someone might tell me how red is red? The photos the dealer has makes it look pretty orange, which I'm not a fan of.

Is it close to Porsche Guards Red? Anyone have a pic in good lighting that'll give me an idea?

Many thanks.
-Rich

Thanks guys... .looks sweet.

The dealer just called me back with a price. I might drive over there just to get some of the crack they're smoking!

It's an 06 4.4 88K miles with just about every option and package available. They told me they're asking $22k - KBB/NADA and the comps I've found look to me like it's probably worth more like $16-17k.

I just got mine ('05 4.8is w/108k) in July for less than all those numbers.

Of course I've put $5K into it, since, but it's set now and still less than they're asking.

Showing my ignorance here, but was anything other than the IS models produced in Imola Red? That might explain the $$$ if it's a 4.8.

It's definitely a 4.4 - They have a picture of the window sticker.

Imola Red was an available option on the 4.4 for the bargain price of just $2500!

Used car market is ridiculous at dealers nowadays. Like beyond ridiculous. If its a one owner car with serious records of service and care, and the valve stem job was done already, I'd maybe pay 17k for it if it seriously needed nothing and was loaded with Nav, etc, since the valve stem job is $2500 in itself.

E53 and all SUV used pricings always go up in the fall/winter months anyway. That car would be listing at 16k asking in the middle of summer.

Porsche Guards Red differs from the 80s to 90s to 00s. Maybe due to fading or different formulation. I happen to see 2002 4.6is Imola Red next to 2001 996 Guards Red and the red is very close match.

Here's a good pic of (ziegel rot) which is the non metallic undercoat used on painted but non exterior surfaces of Imola:
