MID Removal Problem

I am having problem removing the MID display to install the AUX input. I use the T10 Torx driver but to remove the screw beneath the volumn knob. I keep turning but the unit doesn't pop out. Agrrhhhhhh...I am frustrated and thinking about bringing it to the $tealer for them to install. Any suggestion?

Try turning the screw other way (of what you've been trying) just in case. The MID should just pivot out a little then just come right out.

It SWINGS out, to the passenger side.... the pops out...

It only turns about 1/3rd of a turn counter clockwise. Grasp the spindle handle and gently pull it outwards and pivot the MID towards the opposite side to the spindle....
