What are these connectors called and where can I buy them?

So I am in the process of testing an idea and I will need some of these quick disconnect style connectors as shown in this link ( RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.8is Crankcase-Ventilation )

They are the connectors used in the CCV system on all BMW's. I am just looking for the connectors that plug into the intake / valve covers. Anyone have any ideas or links to a place to buy them directly?

Thanks for any help offered

I think he's trying to add a catch tank for an oil separator to his car. The connectors are not sold separately, you will have to buy the entire hose and cut the connectors off. Audi uses a similar connector for their PCV system.

I suggest contacting your closest BMW dealer directly. It looks like we can only order the full hose which is an added cost. The dealer might have access to suppliers for just the clamps/connectors. I would suggest a quick phone call.

or, maybe find an old car at a junk yard and cut off the clamps there?? not sure if old clamps will be good or not...

The stealership is absolutely no help with this... I have already gone down that road, and even went so far as to ask them to let me look through all their replaced parts ( dumpster ) to see if there is anything I could use. I guess that was not a valid request either

I was going to try the local "import" junk yard, but unfortunately they close at 5pm and are not open on the weekends... So sad

Like someone else suggested...if you can find a VW or MB part database...you might get lucky and find that they may sell the part separately.

For instance, if you bust the negative battery terminal "T" clamp used on the e39...it can only be purchased with the entire negative cable ($$$)...but the VW/Audi uses the same type of "T" clamp and it's sold separately in their part database.

(new VW "T" clamp is on the left & broken BMW "T" clamp is on the right)

Glad I could spark some inspiration.

Another thought popped up in my head...I wonder if it would be easier to find the connectors by brand/mfg of the pipes/hoses. If the mfg name is printed on them, try searching for that part by mfg/brand name...it may pull up other car manufactures that also uses the same set-up...which will point you in the direction to see if the connectors are sold separately from the pipe/hose.
