Hey slick thank you again. will take another freeze frame at next code. I will meanwhile drive it to my indy to check filter and injectors as the risolane does its thing.

Np. I think you may actually have a true lean condition. At your mileage the fuel filter should be a given. Lean is better than rich as far as destroying your cats. I would do that no matter what.

Should I make an attempt to remove the filter myself or take it straight to my indy?

Thanks.

I've been running the car and idling it for 5-10 mins at a time. Noticing some very very white smoke at engine idle temp (96 C)... Should I be concerned? CCV?

p2096 still pending.

It is actually fairly easy. Search the forum, a lot of people did their own fuel filter. I did.

Have you ever done your CCV? Could be a source of your unmetered air.

If your going to run a fuel system cleaner, I recommend Amsoil P.i. (support the Xoutpost sponsor lol) or Redline Sl-1. The P.i. also acts as a UCL and if you do 2 bottles before an oil change it will actually do a heavy duty cleaning of the whole system. Also lubricates pump and aids in complete fuel combustion.
