20" snow tires put to the test!! By Griza

These are pics of Griffin’s red X wrapped with 20” snowshoes and out for a test run. I'm sure he’ll chime in and fill us in with more details but from the looks of things they are deff gett'en a work out.

Enjoy the pics.

First shot is a comparison of the two tires. Snows being on the right.

Hope ya'll doing fine and wish I could borrow your skills for a few...this new joint set up is not going smoothly, espc for a techno-idiot such as I am.

Check my sig!!!!!

A big thank you to the "MAN" Ed, aka TripleX!!! I appreciate you throwing those up for me!!
It is time for everyone to realize that 20" snows are the way to go for the winter setup. We got almost a foot of snow today and I went through it just as well as when I had my 18" Dunlop WinterSports last year. The Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow are awesome winter tires even in 20". I know everyone hates the way their X's look when the 18" winter setup goes on, I sure as hell did. Now we have the solution, 4 20" front rims wrapped in 275/40/20. They are much better for my highway commute as I do not give up nearly as much performance. Dry highways are smooth as could be at all speeds, even above 80mph. Corner speed is much higher than expected and then when the white stuff falls, no worries........................

Your IR 4.6 looks tight, Griza!! Love all the painted moldings and we have identical winter setups.
