New type of head unit. Anyone tried it?

Came across this. Is it just another Chinese piece of rubbish? Has anyone tried it? Looks ok in spec but so have many others. eBay link below.

Looks like a Huanlingan unit with updated software. The one I posted I think might be a Dynavin unit with different software too.

Might be wrong though

There's so many to choose from on eBay if you search for "e53 navigation", and it's really hard to know what they're like. The Eonon one, in my opinion, looks the nicest (visually).

I know the Dynavin is supposed to be the cream of the crop, but it also goes for $1299 here in Oz., 3 times the price of the Eonon unit, and 2-3 time the price of just about all the ones on eBay.

I'm currently at a cross-roads. My screen is starting to lose patches of pixels. I can get a replacement for about $120, but that doesn't solve the issue of my phone Bluetooth not being compatible (HTC One XL).

would love to know if any of these actually work decent. been looking at them and looking at reviews on youtube of other models in the respsective line-ups. some people love them, some hate them but I wanna see one of these installed and tested. I'd jump right on the bandwagon as I've got two dead lines in my factory unit and I want a backup camera lol

this one looks nice. I like the way they actually show it mounted in the car and have a youtube video of it showing it in action.

A new player enters they fray

BMW E39 E53 GO Multimedia Touchscreen Headunit GPS NAV DVD CD Radio Bluetooth | eBay

I saw this on eBay the other day, they claim it comes out of the Dynavin factory, just with some features removed (not sure which ones). But $499 compared to $1299 is a big difference!

I've bought parts of them in the past (brake disks, wheel bearing, etc), and the service has always been exceptional.

What about the avin unit? I almost bought it but I'm holding out a little. (Slow business month)

It's the best so far. They have to roll out the updated version for e53 & e39 to be like the latest e46 version (this is the one you want).
They don't support DSP. They are expensive.
