brake pad differences in size ?

Is there any difference between front brake pad sizes X5 E53 3.0i and 3.0D ?

Since we weren't offered the diesels...and you have no signature with model/model year/build date to look up the correct parts based on the aforementioned criteria (in case pre facelift is different than facelift for both the 3.0i/3.0d) ...please consider creating a signature so that we can help you better and with more specific info. (or at least make it easier to look up stuff if need be).

The link below is from looking up the front brake kits (generically)...and when I use the part nbr search...all the models come up except for the 4.6is & 4.8is. After I copied & pasted that same number into the part number search feature to see what other BMWs use the same pad...I got this info...scroll down and under the USAGE heading...click on the +53...and you'll see which e53 models use the same front brakes: http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/34112180419

2001 to 2006 E53 X5 3.0D
standard vented discs (usa rotors I believe)
