Fuse 48 - A/C - amps?

Trying to troubleshoot a parasitic drain. I bought a Amp Hound 2 and checked all fuses. One fuse, with power off and car sleep, is pulling .07 amps. It’s fuse 48, which the panel says is A/C.

What would cause that draw on that circuit with the car off? Anything I should look at or trace from that? Or am I chasing a non issue?

Cannot stay away. Still miss my old girl even though the E70 and F15 are really nice. If I tripped over an E53 somewhat like the one I sold and it was the really right money it could follow me home.

Not sure I understand the 25 amp answer. I’m looking for the amp value on fuse 48 with the car off. Should be zero, right? Not .07 amps?

Could be 0.7A until the system fully powers down and goes to sleep. 700mA could keep the car awake. You'll need to pull connectors in the AC circuit until it disappears. Could be the head unit, the FSR, the little fan in the dash or anything else in there.

Thank you.
At my stage in life you know to never say never. The right car, the right price and anything can happen.

70mA (not 700mA) is pretty low but it seems a bit more than is normal (~18mA).

The fan speed control component (output stage, N2 - a.k.a. the final stage resistor or "hedgehog") is a likley problem. It has it's own supply (via fuse 64) but has signals from the IHKA module (fed from fuse 48).

If the vehicle really is in sleep mode (for example gear selector position light is out) the problem must be IHKA itself as it should not direct any current to components.
