Leaks on the driver side

Hello guys,

We are not able to identify the source of a leak on the driver side.
We already changed valve cover gasket both bank (all dry)
We changed all cam sensors position (4) (all dry)
We washed all the engine to see where is the source.
There is oil on the alternator (which i don't like) ......and there is oil around the power steering hose. We had to remove the internal wing cover plasti to see better but still...There is 3 hoses for power steering and from my understanding 2 are return and 1 for pressure....it's really jam pack in this area .....

From your experience what do think ?

Thanks a lot (engine is N62) with 70k miles...

See if you can get your hands on a little adjustable mirror. I find these handy. Can you get under the car well to look from all angles? My brother in law has luck shoving his phone into the engine cavities and running a video or taking some pictures for where he can't see.

Thanks LVP, yes we use the telescopic mirror but oil is spreading out every where, very difficult to see the source, we re-washed again today.....seems that it's one of 3 hoses (power steering) woundering which one normally go off first ?
Strangely all my oil level are good

Power steering hoses and reservoirs are crap on all BMWs. I have E30s, E36s, E39 and X53 with leaking/seeping hoses or connections. Mine were leaking and I replaced the two to the reservoir and that seems to have stopped it. Maybe take some pictures of where you're seeing it. I did all my valve cover gaskets, seals and o-rings and that seems to have ended the oil leaks…for now.

Thanks for the reply, all valve cover gasket area is dry, timing cover gasket will involve the re-doing valve cover gasket ....
