outer cv boot cover - use hoseclip 2 secure? or not?

Hi eveyone, sorry to post on a weekend, cut a long story short I noticed some crud in the front wheel arch today maybe a table spoon full of it.Checked the the cv boot that I had replaced a year ago, & at one end I saw a build up of the black grease used in the cv boot for lubrication(please see last pci)! Crap I thought it cannot have split in under a year! thankgod it hadn't

The clamp shown in the red circle is on but loose enough to allow the boot to move from left to right as shown in the pics the 2 pics, and for the life of me i cannot figure out how to tighten it up so that the teeth in the clip move to the next 'rung' so as to tighten it to the max....anybody have any idea if a hose clamp will work? or how to tighten the exisiting clamp or if the same type of clamps can be purchased and put on without the need for the whole boot to come off?

Also is the 2-3 table spoons max of lubricant i lost a cause for concern (guess it all depends on how much my mechanic filled the boot wit in the first place, but lets guess that he filled the boot) ANY tips much appreciated.....

Those are the type of owners that brought a PORSCHE, but can't really afford a PORSCHE. Always looking for a cheap fix.

hahaha well in response to upallnight i was up all night rearching, these clamps are called oetiker clamps, apparently not reusable, and whilst not a cost issue have no idea if i can get them out here, they dont come as separate parts from the dealer so you have to buy the whole boot....just concerned about the best way of going about securing the leaking boot until i get hold of a suitable clamp really really don't want to replace the whole boot just cos the clamp on the smaller end of the bellow is not 100% tight...

does anyone know if i can remove it and step up the teeth to the next and last free 'rung' as such? here are pics on how to install and remove

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I would not reuse ear clamps. Go on real oem you can get a fresh clamp from the dealer

Thanks RickybOBBy, do yo think the newm clamp can be 'opened' as such so as to avoid having to take of cv joint and boot and passed up shaft? I checked realoem and all i found was package shown in pic, parts 05 that included bellow and one cliip but does not point to the smaller clip although shown in pic....hmmmmm will have to dig further at least a relief to know that dealers stocks it....jeez nightmare
