Check licplate error - need a bypass

Hey guys I recently replaced the licence plate bulb with a rear view camera and connected the led that was with the camera to the bulb connections.
Everything works perfectly but the "check licplate" error is coming up on my cluster. I'm wondering what can I do to bypass this? Damn OCD!! Suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks!

Either wire in a resistor or get the bulb check coded off by either dealer or someone who knows how to do it.

Remove the led and put a regular bulb back in, if posible, if not get a high quality lled bulb with a built in resistor. Or put ur own resistor in series with the bulb.

I think I'm leaning more towards the resistor. Do you know which resistor I need? It'll probably be cheaper this way and more straight forward too than to have it coded..

Try a 20 ohm it will limit amperage to .6amps

You should light up a lcence plate bulb and read the amperage through the bulb, from there you can use the right resistor, or mayb measure a bulbs resistance

Or just try a couple different ones
