Coding experts- TCU encoding messed up my Bluetooth

In my 4.8 2004 I installed a newer TCU module than the car came with and I had BT working until I encoded the module with SSS thinking I will get an updated firmware on it. Well, I actually was wrong and it programmed the module to the VO features which did not include BT I believe.
Can you guys confirm if the BT option is 633? I will try to change the VO number and reprogram the car. Or, do you know if I can get the BT enabled only by modifying the .man file? I will pull tomorrow the .trc file from my TCU. I am wondering if somebody can get me one that has the BT working so I can compare it with mine.

Thanks Rondo. The TCU 84116945940 the car came with was only displaying "Please wait" although it had the BT MAC and pass code.
The one I put in and it worked just fine until encoding is 84116946993.
I was trying to add this option with NCS Expert but for some reason the FA list is empty. I used the pdf "Changing BMW Vehicle Order Using NCS Expert".

I don't get this lists:

On my 2000 X5 I used zeko to modify the VO number when I retrofitted RLS over AIC. I cannot find the 4.8is version in zeko or I missed it.

Should I try again with zeko or NCS Expert or what am I missing here?
I forgot how to add the option (long number you posted) manually to the file.

Yes you dont have a list of SA options because the e53 uses the zcs to store all the options info.Zeko is a way to see if you need to add a 0400000000000000 to your SA and will do it for you .then change SA in both modules letting ncs calculate the checksums and then recode the tcu.

Thanks Rondo. I am making progress. Most of the steps are coming back to me as I go through the process.

I am getting COAPI-1080: faulty coding key (ZCS)... when using NCS and incorect SA on GT1. I added 0400000...... and the SA changes from 213B80050aade91f 0 to 253B8xxxx... 0
Now, when using zeko and add the 0633 option the SA changes to the last '0' to '4' but neither one is accepted in NCS or GT1.
Interestingly although zeko generates the above number when adding the option it does not accept the SA 253Bxxxxxx when entered after GM number.
I think last time I had VN changing when changing the SA or something like that.
I will play more with zeko but let me know if you have a solution for this.

looks like you are not doing the checksum correctly i always select the calculate checksum option in ncs and let it figure it out. I think you will get a 4 and not a 0 as you posted above.

DONE. You were right. I had the checksum in the SA number and sure it couldn't calculate the checksum

I have the BT back and the VO number updated with 633. Awesome. Thank Rondo.

Any idea how to update these modules? or can they be updated? I have the 84116946993. Can I get the it to the 84109195455 firmware somehow although I am not sure what's the gain?
