Sweet lookin ride, we have the same paint color and '01 4.4 w/ SP. What's the build date on yours? You've got that 16:9 Nav screen I've been coveting.

I converted my 4:3 screen to the 16:9 screen a couple years ago. It definately updates the look of the interior. Great upgrade. If I come across one that's available, I'll let you know.

Jeff,

I have gone so far as to walk through all the steps of that write up on converting the 4:3 to 16:9 except busting out the Dremel! When I get my hands on one, it should be a piece of cake. I have recently seen the entire upgrade set (16:9 screen, MkIV w/ latest DVD) on ebay for about $3000, but it's a retrofit kit, which comes with antenna, etc. which I already have. The MkIV goes for $850 by itself and the 16:9 screen I've seen that as low as $1800.

You're going to kick yourself, but until recently Martin Bishop (bimmernav.com) had the widescreens for about $850. He's sold out of them, as I understand it.
