Interesting. The only thing I can read about it is the higher miles? If it's legit, seems like a lot of car for the dinero?

4.6iS was only 02-03 model years in US, is it different up north?

Faux 4.6is! Look at the tach.
This is a dressed up 4.4i that the dealer is trying to pass off as a 4.6is.

Good catch! The PO of mine made it a faux 4.8 (I'm not complaining, I like the look...). Still, I've looked and ones in this kind of shape were usually cared for by nuts like us. Most I've seen are run to failure or just prior to major maintenance. I've put a wee bit more into mine than I would have liked, but it's well sorted now.

No cold weather package or headlight washers. Does appear to be a factory tow hitch.

That's an aftermarket hitch, the lower bar that attaches near diff is visible.
Not factory window tint too. Shady car lot didn't put VIN# in ad, I wonder why? ![]() I would bet it's sold "as is" because repairs will exceed book value.

All good catches. Not a 4.6
Gauges face should be gray. Rear wheel well trim should be flared. There are other small things like--lower steering wheel trim should be wood, Looks like back seats are two tone and front are not, appears the air filter cover has been patched---all suggesting there are other not visible or not yet noted changes that were also half a##ed. Seems halfway to nowhere. Certainly falls short of a well done 4.4 or a good 4.6 tribute.

I saw the air box mess - no idea what that was left over from. In no way am I attached to this ad, but from the feeds this looked better than most I've seen. For me, it had to be a private sale - the dealer ones were too hacked and they were motivated just to move the car at whatever costs.
