SOLVED: e-Light Module: Unlock Doors when Ignition is Switched to Off?

Recently installed the eLight Professional Module to access features not programmable via NCS Expert:

While NCS is able to program via the GM(?) module to lock doors on "drive off," there is no command line in the module code that enables programming to unlock doors with Ignition Off. The eLight professional module claims to do the latter for the E53; this function was verified by a car-solutions support staff.

Has anyone used the eLight Professional model or higher to provide the "unlock doors with ignition off" feature?? If yes, did anything extra in terms of wiring or programming need to be done?

My inquiry to the support staff at car-solutions (submitted today) is pending an answer likely until next week. I wanted to see if anyone on Xoutpost had a solution or insight on this.

SOLVED: Received help from Car-solution support staff: there are 5 wires coming out of the eLight module: red (power from Basic-Module aka General Module in Bentley's Manual), white (to LCM), brown (ground from from Basic-Module aka General Module in Bentley's Manual), black (output pulse trigger voltage--optional), blue (output trigger voltage--optional). Red, Brown, White were attached according to instructions (Downloads). The black wire needed to be connected to the the yellow/red wire (pin 24) of the White 26-pin connector on the Basic-Module. The yellow/red wire is the Central Lock Control input for my 2006 X5 E53.

Note: this extra step is not included in the general instructions. As per Car-solution support: if the 3-wire connection is correct, the eLight module is correctly programmed, and the doors still do not unlock with ignition switched to off, only then should you connect the black wire to yellow/red wire of the Basic-Module, as described.

Now, with NCS Expert Programming and the eLight module, all the features I wanted for now are realized.

I am certain the module is programmed and wired correctly, as I have programmed the following with proper function:

1) tip-blinker--turn signal blinks 3X with touch of turn signal stalk
2) Parking lights as DRLs -- eLight along with NCS Expert programming made angel eyes the only DRLs (NO cornering lights, low voltage halogen "high beam" nor fog lights).
3) Custom light sequence for Lock/Unlock verification. As seen in Car solution videos, the sequences can be complex. My sequence is pedestrian by comparison, but the eLight enabled me to setup a sequences that was unique to any option in the LCM IV of my X5 E53 (2006) programmable by NCS.

I like the one tap, three blinks for the turn signals. I get used to this in my newer wheels, but miss it. Can this be done with GT1? Or NCS?

Sorry to hijack the thread. The eLight looks pretty cool too, but if they've tapped into it, likely the other software can too.

Pictures of successfully programmed Angel Eyes as DRL via the eLight Module from Car-solution. NCS Expert was used to turn off the inner halogen "high beam" leaving only the angel eyes.

The "unlock doors with ignition off" is supposed to open all of the doors when the ignition key is switched to off. This feature is currently not working for the eLight module. Insights are welcome from others who maybe experienced and fixed the issue.

The coding in the BMW X5 E53 modules does not contain a binary (aktiv/nicht aktiv) command line that can be reassigned by NCS Expert for the 3-blink turn signal (like in my newer "BMW" 2010 CAN BUS MINI Cooper S Clubman).

The eLight module uses proprietary software to program their chipsets on the circuit board. See for comparison (One-touch turn signal module - E31Wiki). I liked this feature so much, I intended to assemble the circuit but realized the turn signal on the X5 E53 defines direction by resistance instead of switch contacts. At least that's how I interpreted the electrical chart in the Bentley's repair manual. The Wiki-based module thus would not work for my 06 X5 E53.

Likewise, the other features I wanted the eLight module for was the Angel Eyes-only as DRLs (done) and the Unlock with ignition off (I and my passengers, particularly significant other dislike the double handle-pull to get out). I am still trying to figure out the unlock feature. Anyone know what I'm missing?

No shenanigans, I am actually "one-touching" the turn stalk (i.e., pushing the stalk to just below the transition to the fully switched position--I thought I filmed my hand, but que sera sera).

Light sequence on lock and unlock. As per original post, my flash sequence is not as elaborate as shown in car-solution videos. Lock: cornering and tail lights flash one time (0.4 sec); Unlock: cornering, halogen "high beam", and tail lights flash twice (0.4 sec) with 0.4 sec off interval.
