If he was quick on the draw and shut it off at the initial signs of overheating, he may be fine, but again, he won't really know until he actually trys to start it again and sees how it runs. He can let it cool all the way down and try a "dry" restart, don't let it heat up for sure, but at least that may give him an initial indication if there's any other damage been done. That said, if it were me, I would re-seat the hose, fill the radiator and cross my fingers. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed - keep us posted and good luck! |

Everything worked out just fine. Popped the hose back on, filled and bled coolant and we're 100%. Thanks for all the help!
