Pasti-Dip Wheels and interior

I have seen many on this forum use the plasti-dip so when it was time to change the front brake pads I figured I would give it a try.

Still going to put a couple more coats on the outside but thought I would share some photos. Very easy to use and looks pretty good. Lowe's now carries about 6 or 7 colors and under $6 for most of them.

I have also done some interior in red and will add some photos when done.

Painted the front calipers while I had it all apart. I like the new look and if I get tired of it, I'll just peel it off.

Enjoy! Sorry but it rained the last 3 days and the X is dirty. I'll post more when clean.

The X is Imola Red.

The front two wheels I put about 2 coats on the inside barrels because they were off the car. I did not waste alot of paint on them but covered them enough to appear good from outside.

The rear two only have two coats on the outside and I will take them off and do the inside and then a couple more coats on the outside. I found it easier to spray the outside with the wheel standing up and you can roll it to make sure you are getting good coverage.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Plasti dip is extremely durable. After a thorough cleaning I would not hesitate to spray my wheels with them.

on my dubs the plasti dip made the paint underneath come off with the dip when I peeled it off

got my rims repainted body color due to this
maybe they were plasti diped wrong
but it was less than 7 months old

I sprayed my wheels with plasti dip last October. I take it to the carwash once a week. They have the wheel brushes. The wheels look as good as the day I sprayed them.
