Happy Friday all!
Casting a line to see if anyone can shed some light on the subject of front strut "drop hats". I have an '03 4.6is with front H&R/Bilstein front lowering springs + rear air suspension. While I love the H&R/Bilstein setup I cant seem to dial in the rake of the vehicle to my liking (visually speaking) due to the difference in front and rear wheel arch height. I have gone back & forth with the rear ride height link settings but when I get the rear height to my liking it inherently lifts the front a bit higher than I would like.
I stumbled across some info on e90 front strut "drop hats" researching some e34 stuff and these drop hats appear to be deeper than usual dropping the front approximately 15-18mm.
Does anyone know if such an animal exists for our e53's? I feel like this will give me exactly what I'm shooting for.
I know I could do coilovers but house & e38 projects are getting preference right now as the budget goes.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
