The 4.8's days are numbered: Pulled the trigger on a Subaru.

Last winter was awful with my 4.8 as many of you remember. It was only a question of time the day would come for me to move on.

Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a brand new 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited. The kayaks will look pretty good on it but the peace of mind will be priceless.

I'll stick around until my wife and I sell the E70 then I won't be part of the BMW family anymore but I'm really happy I met some of you. Many of you were always there to help out. This is really a great community.

So long you crazy people

No offense but I hope you're going to be the only good person driving a Subaru outback. I drive to the Bay Area every weekend in my 02 4.6is and it's become a game to hunt those outbacks because the liberals that drive them think they can do 65 in the fast lane. They're literally the antichrist in my eyes. So work hard to change that image.

How does one conclude that no offense makes something obviously offensive not offensive?

Because he speaks the truth from my experiences in Colorado (People's Republic of Boulder).

Subarus are the devil's handiwork. Sitting in one makes you lose all sense and do things like sit in the left lane of I-70 going up Vail pass at 55mph and slowing. Ugh.

The BRZ appears to be nice though. It just needs another 100hp. Maybe things are changing and the devil has moved on to some other marque.
