You'll need new struts for the front as well when replacing the air struts.
This kit always existed, its just H&R sport springs and spring pads for front/rear. You shoulda just done this if you got frustrated instead of selling!

Yea, the damage was already done....who would of known that a few leaking air bags would turn into a 2 year suspension nightmare...with the twins turning a year old it was just too much money to maintain.
Since we sold it, the new owner has had to replace the fuel pump, motor mounts, window regulator and suspension control module... that was all in the first couple of months of owning it.... he hasn't emailed us in a while so it's either not breaking down or he gave up emailing us lol

So if my X only have the air suspension in the rear, I just need a rear conversion kit or should I opt for the front and rear conversion kit and use the new springs in the front?
Genuine BMW Kit or ECS Tuning put together kit?

I have air suspension on the rear (only). Don't give up on the system. I proactively replaced by air springs with Arnott units - perhaps an hour or two of work. VERY easy to do.
Remember that the rear air system is VERY handy at keeping a level car when you have a lot of items in the back or if towing.
