BMW diagnostic software recommendations?

Hey all. I haven't been present on the forum for a couple months. I've been slammed with work. I have some pm's and threads to get caught up on as well as some updates on current projects.

I'm having self leveling suspension issues and decided its time to get spooled up on knowledge and pull the trigger on some software/hardware station to diagnose/ program stuff. My X5 looks like a cat in heat with it's ass end up in the upper stratosphere.

I know there was a recommended ebay package deal with cable included a while ago. I have a laptop to dedicate it to. Just wanted to see what people are running and recommendations. I am currently using the search tool in the mean time learning everything I can. I appreciate any help if you want to chime in.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
If you have the X's ass end up, good news, its most likely a seized linkage on the sensor arm, the sensor arm is flipped (have you jacked it up or went offroading recently?), or worst case scenario your leveling sensor took a huge #2 dump on you and will need to be replaced. You don't have leaking bags which is great, bad news though is your compressor is working overtime to keep that ass end high and eventually the seal on the piston will wear out, throwing another hard SLS fault (the seal repair kit is $50)

I bought my Romanian suite from "bmwfanatiq" on ebay last year and am happy with it, runs well for the most part on my dedicated laptop and I can run DIS or INPA among other programs fairly easily.

Good luck man and looking forward to updates, I've noticed your "future mods" list growing longer over the past months

Dude, I love that I can always count on you! It's way appreciated. I'll look up that eBay seller. I've wanted to tinker with this software for a while.

I checked all the linkages on the sensors today and lubed them up. Cracked the air lines open and let some air out as it was totally maxed out. The X5 rode like crap. The slightest imperfection would make the rear oscillate like a buck board. It returned to normal height, but did not stay there for long. I pulled the 30 amp fuse to lock it in. Your right, holds air just fine.
It must be one of the sensors went toes up.

Thanks again buddy. Updates with pictures soon.
