Welcome to the board!
Nice car..send me your running boards if you don't like them
Definitely get a PPI done...oil leaks, coolant drips, strange noises, check if suspension is tight, and lastly, check if you have a dead body in the trunk...
I like the interior too, nice black/silver/navi

You know, I've always wondered why v8's are so cheap in UK..6 years ago one of my buddies got a 2001 E38 740i in mint condition under 100k kilometers for about 3000£
So what's the secret?i know everything else is really expensive ..

a couple of reasons why large engine cars are cheap over here
road tax
fuel
you can pay over 1000£ a year just in road tax for the privilege of driving on the road, that's without insurance or fuel costs
and there's the price of fuel also , which is stupid (5.95£ a gallon) or 1.30 a litre, people just refuse to pay it , ergo , cheap large gas guzzler cars

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
its fuel.

petrol much more expensive overseas, which is why the 3.0d is the desired engine in E53 overseas, as diesel is cheaper and more readily available

Looks nice, Steve.

An X5 is something to buy if you are handy and can do some repairs yourself. It can be expensive otherwise.

One thing to check on the test drive is to come to a slow stop (just about stopping, but not quite), then apply a healthy dose of throttle. Hopefully, the transmission won't very, very abruptly downshift into first gear. You'll know it if it does as it'll feel like you have been hit by a truck from behind.
