Bosch ICON Driver Wiper Not Flush!

Did I install it wrong or get a defective one?? The Bosch 24" driver wiper won't stay flush with windshield

remove the small plastic tabs that holds the blade down from the old oem blade.

Not sure what you mean exactly... What do I remove? From the new blade or old blade? Or wiper arm?

The website shows: When attaching, remove the spoiler of the driver side's wiper arm (not possible on riveted spoiler).

I removed the plastic piece left from OEM blade. I was able to install new ICON blade, but it doesn't stay flush with windshield when wiping and leaves a puddle in the middle...

It's actually the passenger blade I have trouble with on mine. The end inch or so doesn't contact the windshield, and it does bug me.

I'm trying to get the E70 front wiper conversion done for the better blades and the ability to lift them without popping them up vertically.

Yeah, Icon blades don't make tight bends. You can get shorter blade for the passenger side to eliminate the area that doesn't contact the windshield.

this is normal assuming you've removed the plastic tab everyone is referencing. I THOUGHT (but don't quote me) this is because the metric equivalent size to 24" is slightly shorter.

I have replaced my blades many times over the years. Never been a problem. I buy what I think is the very best and they always have the spoiler on them. I have not replaced a wiper arm but that can be the problem rather than the blade. Only other thing I do is apply Rainex whenever the water doesn't bead and wipe the blades with window cleaner once in a while.

I did take out the OEM clip from driver wiper arm when installing 24A ICON. I'm going to exchange the wiper blade and see if that's it. If that doesn't work I may try the Valeos. I love the ICON blades though. I don't think it's the wiper arm because the oem blade stays flush with the windshield.

I think that's normal. It did it on my e46 as well.
