Angry Rain Sensor Problem
my 03 x5, i changed the new rain wipers in the front. then, my rain sensor mess up. when the windshield is fog, then i turned on the sensor wiper to wipe the water out. usually it wipe once or twice are fine. but now it is keep moving, couldn't stop when the windsheild back dry. i asked dealer to check. they couldn't find anything. does anyone know? thanks for looking!!!

If you applied any kind of special lubricant (i.e. Rain-X) to the windshield, it will confuse the sensor.

Take a look in the middle top of the windscreen, you`ll see a module there stuck/integrated to the inside of the screen, sort of purple ish in colour. That is the rain and headlight sensor I think.
