2015 Range Rover Fastest SUV world wide ?

Can this be true? Does BMW still provides the engine for Range Rover?

I believe this ties the X5M

Of course since BMW X5M is electronically limited to 155 mph and the Range Rover Sport SVR is electronically limited to 162 mph. LOL... Why anyone wants to go faster in SUV (or SAV) is puzzling.

The X5M still holds the record for fastest SUV or SAV whichever. unlimited it would eat the range rover alive and still feel stable at those speeds.

I don't think this is a BMW engine. BMW sold the name in 2006 or so to ford and then ford sold the name again in 08' I believe to jaguar.

I'll say it's a jag motor.

GTS is fast for SUV but doesn't compare to Turbo S or X5M. GTS has naturally aspirated 4.8 V8 and slightly faster than 4.8 X5. Turbo S is another story with more than 100 HP and lots of torque.

Yes..the Turbo s ...The GTS is just a NA V8 although it's not "just " any SUV...when I bought my x5 I couldn't afford the Cayenne GTS otherwise I would have bought one...couldn't justify double the price with a baby on the way...
But with God's help, that will be my next SUV/SAV after the x5 ..
