Smoke out right exhaust

So, I'm camping, filling up some air matresses using the rear 12V outlets with the engine on. Reved the engine and noticed some smoke in the air. Upon further examination, it seems to be from the right side. Any takers on where to start? Engine has new valve cover gaskets, CCVs, doesn't burn hardly any oil. Could be early sign of valve issues? I haven't noticed any plumes of smoke from a standstill. I will be looking closely now though.

Is the smoke white? Does it smell sweet? Could be a blown head gasket.

Not white, not sweet. I've had that before on my 475,000km Cavalier Z24 . Dark, oily funk smelling. It's blue.

When were the valve cover gaskets done? If the smoke is blue, it means you are burning oil. So either your Valve seals are shot on the 1st bank, the diaphragm on the CCV blew out, or the VCG was installed improperly. Pull the spark plugs to see the signs of their condition. It may help narrow down the problem.

VCG done about 10,000km ago. I'll pull plugs Tuesday or Wednesday to assess. Thanks.

common problem with the N62 is the valve stem seals, if its blue smoke thats most likely what it is, and considering your mileage its a safe bet. Do you consume oil?

The fix is about 2500-3k at an indy including parts.

Barely use oil. And it's mild smoke compared to some of the videos I've been able to watch. Have you seen this tool kit?

Just use the left exhaust until you sell it.
