My new car: '06 4.8is LeMans Blue..pics

Hey guys finally took some iphone pictures of my new car i bought a few days ago..my DSLR is missing the lens so better pics will be coming later on.

The car has 93k miles runs and drives great so far with a few small problems which will be posting in another thread sometime in the future.
It's a 1 owner car, has all the maintenance records since new serviced at BMW Seattle(not too many things changed beside the fuel pump(twice),tires(ofcourse),blown shock, fuel filter, brakes, a few hoses, fluids, and some miscellaneous stuff).

I dont want to bore any of you with this post...I just thought i'd post some pictures and say hello to this awesome forum. Here you go..

Congrats and Welcome! Don't let all the whining and griping you see here depress you. They really are very nice vehicles, and many of quirks are DIY fix items if your reading comprehension is good and you can turn a wrench ....

Odd, I've never seen a 4.8is with comfort seats before.

Regardless, beautiful ride man! Welcome to the forum.

Thanks guys really appreciate it.
Brandon, almost every 4.8is i have seen so far has comfort seats.I thought sport seats were rare...regardless, I would never switch to sport now that I now how comfy these are.
By the way..I'm open to criticism and suggestions..maybe some mods that'll make the car look better?
How do you feel about painting the lower bumper plastic mesh to match the kidney grills and hood vents?ricey?i thought it'll make the car look beefier lol..I think I'll have to photoshop it :>

I feel the sport seats are more supportive and in turn more comfy. I had comfort seats in a few of my other BMW's and the sport seats have always felt better on long drives. That was the one key feature I looked for when buying my X5... it had to have sport seats, everything else was just a bonus.

Don't paint the lower black plastic, that car needs nothing, as it's 4.8is and perfect.

Rear spacers, tint the windows, maybe some projector fog lights with hid, or some led tail lights.

I'd put led bulbs in the interior and do some coding and literally you are good to go!

Have you thought about adding the aluminum running boards?

Whoops never mind I saw you meant the mesh on the bumpers.

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't that be already Titan silver to match grilles and good vents on a 4.8?

You can buy the silver mesh pieces from BMW they aren't expensive, but yes I think the lower mesh should match the grilles and hood vents

Looks great. Congratulations. IMO BMW has yet to design an X5 that's sexier and sportier than E53
