Splash shield 8mm screws

Does anyone know the part # for the longer 8mm screws that hold on the splash shield? I'm missing a couple and would like to replace them. I can't seem to find those specific fasteners on realoem.com… Attached is a picture I found of the shield on another site. Screws needed are circled in yellow. Thanks-

AutoZone sells a pkg of "splash shield" bolts that sure look like the 8mm version over in their misc bolts and screws area.

I would just go to Lowes and get all new bolts and fasteners with the screw length you want. They are not anything special.

I think you may be looking for #8 in the diagram (since 4 are listed as quantity...and it connects the shield and the brake ducts on the (left/right) sides.

You could always take one out, then go to your local BMW dealer's part dept with the part nbrs for #5/#8/#13...then compare them to see which one is which. They don't seem to cost much.

To the far right of #8 in the part nbr index is a clickable link to see a pic of the screw...if it's not #8...then the other screws for this area if #5 & #13 (all hardware part nbrs are encircled in the diagram and usually are also listed in a separate hardware illustration within the diagram (as in this case):

Thanks for the replies- Expansion tank just blew yesterday so already headed to the dealer to grab a new one. Will probably try to locate proper screws while I'm there.

Dealer had 3 left, got all 3 for $.28. For anyone looking, part # is 07119902267. Thanks Qsilver7 for the heads up on the clickable photo links! Didn't even notice those icons when I was looking at the diagram on realoem!

Great...glad it worked out....plus the score you made on cost...no less from a BMW dealer. And the diagram does through you off since #8 is pointing to the brake air ducts instead of the shield.

If I were in charge of the illustration...I would have drawn connecting lines to both the left/right brake air ducts and the 4 locations on the shield...which would have made it clearer (at least in my mind).

Yeah, I'm with you on the drawing. Seems like the hardware should have been in the main drawing at least at four points of assembly. Oh well, no biggie. The reason I got the screws so cheap was because they had been previously special ordered and then not picked up. Too small a parts charge to justify them sending the screws back so they sold them to me for cheap. Now I'm off to replace my expansion tank and get this thing back on the road!
