Rear Seatback
Any ideas what's going on? FYI, I own the truck since new and I don't even remember ever adjusting the seats. Now, I need to and the function's not working. Thanks to all who answer. |

sounds like the motor on that side is messed up, or you could get lucky and it's just a dirty pin on the harness that plugs into it?
time to get the meter out!

I don't pretend to be anywhere mechanically inclined but I don't mind taking a shot at this. Big Black, would you mind pointing me in the right direction? Is the harness under the rear seat or somewhere else? Also, where would the motor be - behind that sides carpeted panel? Thanks in advance.

I'd be checking that the switch works first...

tom,
i am pretty sure it's all in the panels over the wheel wells behind the seats. You can verify by looking on realoem for the diagrams. That is most likely where you can verify if the switches are working too. Mine has 2 set's ... one for the passengers and one set in the trunk. Hope this helps!
