anybody install monroe oespectrum rear shocks?

I installed the oespectrum shocks on the X after reading some good reviews....the turning ability, and control is kinda nice, the first couple days they felt great, now its just plain uncomfortable. Anyone else have experience with these? Do they wear in over time? Whats a better set to go with (i havnt put everything back in the trunk for this reason exactly so it would be a quick swap, and oreillys is great about their returns for commercial accounts.

Why put anything else but stock shocks on the X? What would be the advantage?

Like how Monroe put "OE Spec" in the name oespectrum. Makes people think they're produced to OE Specs without actually stating it's an OE spec unit. Slick marketing.

Last time I tried Monroe shocks was in the '80s, on a '79 WS6 Trans Am MT. The worn out shocks were better then the new Monroe units.

Drove the car to retailer and "bounce tested" with manager, he agreed they sucked, he swapped the first set thinking they were defective, so I actually installed 2 set. WORST SHOCKS EVER!!!

Went Bilstein, MASSIVE improvement.
