blower works when it wants to?? e53 3.0l p

Hi guys, i have had a issue with my blower, last year it stopped working all together, if i urned on the heater the car got warm but not fan/blower. It was the summer and a few months later one day it just started to work again, it wprked fine for six months maybe not as powerfull and this week it has stopped again, i dont want to hope it will start again i would really like to fix this. i have read on the forum about the final stage resistor?? although cant find it. I have taken off the panel below glove box but cant find it.

is the Blower Resistor or Final Stage Replacement thing under the driver side in the bmw x5 e53 3.0l p on the uk model?? if so anyone got a pic of what im looking for or maybe a uk guide

many thanks kind regards Jon

Likely FSR. Use only BMW FSR, nothing else.
Similar location for UK vehicles.
