Door lock issue after regulator replacement.

I replaced the front driver's side window regulator and thought I had everything back together properly. Now the lock rod feels stuck. If I press it hard it will go down, but the handle feels tight unlocking the door...otherwise the door operates normally. The remote key will not operate the drivers side lock (understandable since it's hung up). The other locks operate normally with and without the remote.

I did have to install a new vapor barrier so I had to remove the air bag. Is it possible something is out of alignment? The door operated normally before I tackled the regulator (and all the fun that was)..

I am a nube when it comes to working on these vehicles...without the help of this forum, bimmerfest forum and youtube this vehicle would kill me in cost of ownership.

Thanks and let me know if I need to provide more detail.
