2004 and up X5's have an aux kit that plugs into the rear of the factory nav head units. It enables an Aux mode and gives you a mini jack input. That's what I did for my X with factory sound system/nav/dsp.
If you post up more details of your vehicle like year, model, nav/no nav, dsp/no dsp, I'm sure other members can give you other options. Also, check out the electronics part of the forum.

Motorsport1207 has identified correct connectors.
I have used Dice since the initial product offering. I now have the Dice Mediabridge which has become the Audiovox Silverline duo. Both have the capability to connect to an iPhone using bluetooth. When connected ingoing and outgoing calls come through the radio and use existing steering wheel controls. Good excuse to get the latest iPhone.

The Silverline Duo or Mediabridge as it can also labeled will do everything you have mentioned and more. I added the Sirius module. Rather than use the existing Nav I use google maps from my iPhone to give me turn by turn directions through the radio. Sometimes I connect my phone using USB feature rather than Bluetooth so I can also charge my phone, listen to music on my phone and it will switch to Nav messages when they play. Install takes time but it is not complex.
