Removing old door carrier..keeps getting stuck at door lock lever!

Ok, I'm done with everything and just have to remove the old door carrier and replace with a new one. Problem is I loosened it off of the door and released mounting clip and the ball clip but I can't seem to take it out from the inside the door. I've turned and tried every angle possible but it's always getting caught at the locking lever.

I've gotten this far and it would be so disappointing to take it to the shop when 90% is done already and I've spent countless hours.

Please help!

Yes I used the YouTube video(bavauto's) as guidance when I did mine.

I've watched them all which is how I got this far. Perhaps you didn't understand me clearly.
Old carrier is all pried loose. I just can't yank it out because of the locking lever. Video says turn 90 degrees. I've tried at every degree.

I did this yesterday. Just remove the locking mechanism (3 screws on the side of the door).

Jac, that's fantastic! Did you have to unplug anything or simple unscrew and screw back on??

Just unscrew the 3 screws, nothing else... The screws are quite tight so you'll need a "star" socket and socket wrench. You will also need some "loctite" when you put them back on for security.
