Big Bummer - need some assistance

Hey all,

I have two 2003 X5, a 4.4 and a 4.6. I have two sets of winter wheels and tires for both. They were in a storage facility my family owns. The place was broken into and both sets of wheels and tires along with tons of tools and other stuff stolen.

I am asking you all if anyone has seen these on line or at a some garage sale. One set was a BMW style 59321 with Hankook 255/55/18 M/S 109T with about 50% tread left. The other set was a BMW style 59322 with Hankook 255/55/18 I-Pike Snow tires with about 75% tread left.

I run 18" snow tires on the 4.6 because we are in snow country and the stock wheels/tires are horrible in the snow. I would like to purchase two more sets of wheels. I would like to purchase a set of 18" for the 4.4 and maybe a set of 19" or 20" but not as wide as the stock 315 for the 4.6. I need snow tires so probably not interested in wheel and tire unless they are a Mud and Snow.

If anyone has any insight to share it would be most appreciated. PM if you want or if you have wheels to sell. Thanks in advance

Yeah, sucks big time. As I keep telling myself, it could be worse and we still have our health and cars are fine but I also keep asking myself, "where is my gun?"

Check Craigslist or Kijiji to see if the culprit is trying to fence the wheels!

on an aside, steer clear of the 19 inch wheels, apparently 19 inch tires are hard to come by, and rediculously expensive!

Thanks for the heads up. I actually found a pretty good deal on some 19" today. I was gonna do some research but this is great advice. Appreciate it.

Long story short, the only insurance was for FIRE, 15+ years. Building belongs to a relative so all of us are having to file claims on Home Owners policies which gets a little dicey when it comes to Home Owner Property stored offsite. We'll see!
