Newbie looking for horsepressure!

Hi all! I'm Price Robinson from Sandersville Ms. I just recently started playing with my 2000 x5 and let me tell y'all this thing is a blast! I really enjoy most everything about it (except outside door handles). My wife has had it for a pretty good while but I recently bought her a new vehicle and the option came up to trade the x in and I decided to pass and hang onto it and make it my weekend toy. I've lurked around these forums for quite some time getting helpful info on making repairs and such and y'all have been a huge help! I am wanting to build a pretty decent amount of horsepower and have been doing some reading and research for a while now and can't seem to find much info on some other guys "big horsepower builds" I do know that the company called Dinan makes supercharger kits and turbo kits for staggering amounts of money and honestly the kits would cost more than the car is worth. So my options are pretty much all narrowed down to forced induction because I can't find anywhere that sales performance cams or heads etc. Now here's my dilemma, I am a welder fabricator by trade and have just about every iron working tool known to man and in my town there are a couple different steel mills and several machine shops that I know personally so building my own turbo kit is VERY simple I've actually built quite a few for a few different applications for camaros and full size trucks and such so that's no issue but the only thing holding me back is tuning for boost and supporting mods like bigger injector. So any info that y'all may know on some tuning options like HP tuners or EFIlive that I can get ahold of that is compatible with the BMW ecu and some info on injectors will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
