www.xoutpost.com is my new home!!!

So I just picked up this bad boy on 4/2/05 and I have not slept ever since, I am so happy. I traded in my 2001 325Ci for my 2001 X5 4.4 w/ only 29K Miles!!! I did the research and found out the the difference in Miles per gallon from a 4.4 to a 3.0 was not that great as to sacrafice my HP. I am also glad that i found www.xoutpost.com cause now I can officially dump www.e46fanatics.com check out the car below...Let the mods begin!!!

Welcome! That's a beautiful X you've got. I recently made almost the opposite trade. I had a 2002 X5 4.4i, and in January I traded it for a 2003 330xi... Probably one of the worst decisions of my life, because I miss it so much! Anyway, this is THE place to be for your X5. It's a great community, and among us we've got all the information you'll ever need. Now get to those MODS!

Welcome to X5world :welcome:

You've come to the right place. There's plenty of mod ideas on the main page, with lots of tips and tricks to make your life easier. And we certainly welcome any new mod ideas that you wish to share with others.

I see your new X5 already has, at least in my opinion, one of the most important mods - the M steering wheel. Sweet

Jeff

Welcome! Yes, X5world is THE place to be for E53 info and just all around good times. Be sure to check out The Lounge.

Oh and the M steering wheel, either leather or Alcantara, is a must. It's the best mod I have done.

Actually The M3 Steering wheel was my first mod (4/3/05) was saving it for my 325Ci but never got around to putting it on, thank god I did not cause it looks great on the X5. FYI the car has HID on the headlights and on the Fog lights,

I approve of everything in that car, except SP (too harsh ride) and the Alcantara wheel. Albeit, some people might enjoy the rock-hard ride...it is certainly not rewarding if you're driving in Toronto (the pot-hole heaven).
