'Sandbalsting' with spacers

Although it looks better (30mm rear/25mm front) I guess I am sand blasting the paint. I will have to take them off for the winter and put them back in the summer.

Ouch

could always apply some Lamin-X rock blocker film

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with these winter road conditions. Seeing my car like that would make me want to relocate.

I don't think the OE mudflaps would help. So unless you wanted to go with the rally look you will have to lose the spacers or do a clear bra in those areas.

Unless you can get your hands on the Aussie versions for the rear:

Sound like a good plan to me. Get a set of snow tires and run spacer-less.

Yeah, I am a big fan of skinny/non staggered look.

I'm having the same problem mostly because of the excessive and unnecessary salting in my area. I'm just going to run a spacerless winter setup (as much as it will pain me to look at the car like that).

I removed the spacers this weekend for the winter. Putting them back in the spring.

Same issue here in Texas, the salt/sand lasts for weeks after a light snowfall! My X has seen about 6 weeks garaged over the past 2 yrs (yet to turn a wheel on snow/salt/sand). I drive a Honda Accord those times (if it rusts/get hit, I won't care as much). Moronic drivers on snow/ice here, seen drivers doing hwy speeds during winter conditions!
