BMW paint: soft or hard?
What type of paint does BMW use? Especially on the E53, is it relatively soft or hard?

I have read on detailing forums that it is considered a hard paint

BMW paint is pretty hard, in the mid-hard scale I'd say.

Infiniti is soft, Lexus/Toyota and Subaru is fairly soft
