Longer front frivershaft. Anyone DIY?
Just wondering how time consuming it was. I noticed that just to get the regular one out you have to unbolt the front transfer case a bit.
So how do you get the longer version in?
Do you need to remove the transfer case thats mounted to the trans?
The X I just put a motor in was finally driven home today, but I noticed under acceleration, it clicked/slipped. Like the splines were slipping in the transfer case.
Also found out it needs a new mounting plate for the trans cooler. The mounting tabs for the thermostat were broken and weep.
