OMG... Coolant Leak at Pipe 11531736831

http://www.xoutpost.com/1024222-post5291.html

So I removed the waterpump, checked and carefully re-positioned the pipe, and buttoned up the waterpump. Car drove fine and dry on shakedown run. Leaked out all coolant the next day via a steady drip from the same pipe. Pressurized and confirmed leak at pipe. Removed waterpump yet again, replaced the seal and added some silicone for good measure. Drip still there.
The waterpump was sourced aftermarket and is the URO brand (pn 11 51 1 713 266). Do the pipes go out of round? I'm thinking the water pump or the pipe is out of round. My frustration is such I am actually considering putting the old water pump back on just to end my headache.

You get what you pay for. How many time have people on this forum said to use only OEM BMW parts.

I do not know if the pipes go out of round, but Uro is seriously shitty quality.

I ended up having to go back in and replace the pipes on mine. I even polished up the ends a little when I did the WP and valley pan, but it started leaking when the weather cooled off - guess they were slightly pitted or outbof round.

If you shop around and find places like BMW of Morristown, there isn't even much price difference between discount BMW (20-30% below list) and aftermarket. If you are unlucky to have a local dealer that charges 20-30% over list price, like around me, then the aftermarket stuff seems way cheaper.
