..get by with a little help from my friends(anybody in LA with high MID DSP?)

Thanks to a tip on the problem from Qsilver7 I now know PO on my X5 replaced my original DSP high MID with a non DSP high MID. Thoughtfully, they did so with church echo at maximum so now it is "baked" in and talk radio is almost unbearable. I am upgrading to an N6 but I will be left with the echo unless I use a factory DSP high MID first to deactivate the echo.

So my question is, is there anyone in the greater Los Angles area with a factory DSP high MID that would allow me to plug it in my X5 for a whole 30 seconds so I can turn the echo off?

I would be eternally grateful and provide coffee or tea and pastries!

Cheers!

you may want to buy yourself one on ebay, so you have it. That way you can yank the N6 if you decide later you dont like it, or if you sell the car, its always better to be stock.

You may also want to try popping your battery out for a few hours. That may reset all of the audio levels.
