Arrow Fuel pump bad? *fixed 3rd page

Well typing this as im waiting for towtruck in parking lot lol...

Get in start car, fires very low barely makes idle rpm dies within 2 sec..

Tried a few times then let it sit for 20 min, fired, got it to higher rpm giving gas but very stumbly then dies 2-3 sec later. My father stopped by with extra fuel in case that was it (50mls range) and starter fluid.

Got it going a sec or two longer but very misfirey/shaky and dies anyways.

So... Im probably looking at the pump here?

sounds like it

pull out back seats, remove passenger side access panel, than remove the fuel pump assembly thingy

when you install the new pump u will need a new clamp for the output line because the stock ones are like cv shaft boot clamps

hopefully the tank is under 70% full

mine stopped working @ 95,000kms because of a clogged fuel filter

How many times have you let the tank run pretty low?

In the modern BMW (1995+ models), keep the tank above 1/4 to avoid siphon pump issues causing fuel pump premature death.

Read the codes.

Then to diagnose properly, energize the fuel pump and check fuel pressure with a gauge.

The pump cost me about 300$ and it took 1.5 hours to do with simple hand tools in my back yard

Using the oem equivalent part

RB, countless times running it low since i got it.

30-40-50 mls range, more then enough times pulling into gas station with 10 or 8 mls left lol.

From what i see it doesnt matter much, theres people out there making sure they fill up and they still fail. Looks like more of "when it fails" not "if".

Me as well, just curious. You think your valvetronic tuning could be overworking the pump at all?
